Bolajon is a children's TV channel in Uzbekistan. There is barely any information about this channel available online, at least in English.
The 1st President of Uzbekistan, Islam Karimov, signed a resolution approving the creation of the channel on May 30th 2013. It launched on June 1st of the same year. The channel is owned by the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan, better known as MTRK. Bolajon was created as a spin-off of Yoshlar, which is another channel that is also owned by MTRK.[1]
Bolajon mostly airs cartoons and films, but they also air some live-action shows. Many of the live-action shows are filmed locally in Uzbekistan. Most translations are in the form of voice-overs. Sometimes they will air the Russian version if an Uzbek version hasn't been made yet.
