Trivia[]

  • As with all of the other dubs the show has received, the participating voice actors in this dub reprise their roles from the Canadian English dub of Spectra Animation's adaptation of the series.
    • Interestingly, Spectra also commissioned this dub, and although it was released on YouTube, this dub has not been aired on television.
    • The theme song for Spectra's adaptation of the show, however, is sung by Rasmus Hardiker, who also voices Waru in the British English dub of the main series and Spectra's adaptation for the series.
  • This is the only dub where Spade is voiced by a female voice actor. Despite this, the character is still referred to as a male in the dub. As a result, the pitch of Spade's voice is most notably higher than in other dubs of the show, where his voice is deeper.
  • Despite the occurence of casting restrictions in 2020, Deven Mack is the voice of Waru in this dub, despite the main characters of the show presumably being Caucasian.
    • The same thing also applies with Joseph Motiki, the voice actor for Romeo in this same dub.
  • This dub is essentially based off of the British English dub.
    • While the original language of the series is Russian, the animation, namely lip-syncing of the characters, has been based on a placeholder English dub that is done in the United Kingdom, with Rasmus Hardiker (Waru's voice actor in said dub), Joseph Balderrama, Brian Blessed, and Rupert Simonian providing the voices. The actors that produce official voice tracks for this dub then record over the dub, with the lines for this version being re-adapted in order to match the animation.
    • Brolly and Spade use the same names in both of these dubs. They also use these names in the Albanian dub of the show, whereas in the original dub, they are referred to as "Zontik" and "Pik", and in some other dubs, their names are translations of "umbrella" and "peak", respectively.
    • One of Waru's lines, however, as mentioned below, was left undubbed from that version. Because of this, it is believed that Deven Mack did not record Waru saying the line mentioned below.
    • Interestingly, character animations have been slightly redone in these dubs as well. One of the most notable is that Spade wears a red cloak, which he is not seen wearing in other dubs.
  • Most notably, the dub tends to suffer from audio issues, which can range from minor, such as grunts and noises being left undubbed or silent, to significant, with some dialogue not being dubbed at all - an example of the latter is in the first episode, where one of Waru's lines, "And who's laughing now?! Who's really been punished?!", is utilized in the dub, despite Rasmus Hardiker, his voice actor in the dub, not participating in this dub. Another instance is in the fourth episode, where Romeo's line "I want sushi." can be heard overlapping with his original Russian voice.
  • This dub has never been aired on YTV or Nickelodeon Canada, as they already aired the American English dub instead.
